Location: Augusta, Georiga

by "Rockin" Robin Drodge

Event Date:  December 03, 2006

Match Number One - Matt Hardy and The Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy vs. Mercury, Nitro and Melina (MNM).  This was a very good match.  The ending came when Jeff Hardy hit the Swanton Bomb from off the top rope on both Mercury and Nitro to pick up the pin-fall victory for his Team.

Match Number Two - Matt Striker vs. Balls Mahoney.  This match was all right.  Balls Mahoney picked up the pin-fall victory in this match.

Match Number Three - Elijah Burke and Sylvester Terkay vs. Little Guido and Tony Mamaluke, The Full Blooded Italians (FBI).  This match was all right.  Elijah Burke and Sylvester Terkay picked up the pin-fall victory in this match.

Match Number Four - Mix Tag Team match.  Kevin Thorne and Ariel vs. Mike Knocks and Kelly Kelly.  This match was all right.  The ending came when Ariel ended up pinning Kelly Kelly to pick up the pin-fall for her Team.

Match Number Five - Tommy Dreamer vs. Daivari (with The Great Khali in his corner).  This match was all right.  The ending came when Daivari rolled up Tommy Dreamer to pick up the pin-fall victory in this match.

Match Number Six - The Main Event.  Extreme Elimination Chamber match for the ECW World Championship.

ECW World Champion, The Big Show, vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Rob Van Dam vs. C.M. Punk vs. Test and Hardcore Holly.  Sabu was supposed to be in this match but was attacked earlier in the night, therefore could not compete.  Hardcore Holly was his replacement.

The rule for this match is that two Superstars would start out wrestling the match for a five-minute period.  Once the five minutes expired, another Superstar who was locked into smaller chambers above the ring would enter the ring, this process would continue every five minutes until all six Superstars entered the ring.  The four Superstars that were locked into smaller chambers were given weapons, which consisted of the following: steel chair, table, barb wire baseball bat, and a crowbar.  Rob Van Dam and Hardcore Holly started the match.  Once the five minutes expired, C.M. Punk entered the ring with a steel chair that was placed into his chamber.  After his five minutes was up, Test entered the ring with the crowbar that was placed into his chamber.  The first elimination occurred when Rob Van Dam hit the five star frog splash on C.M. Punk to pick up the pin-fall.

After this elimination, Test appeared to team up with Hardcore Holly to double team Rob Van Dam, however Test instead hit a big boot on Holly to pick up the pin-fall.  From there, Test placed a chair on RVD and then went to the top rope and hit an elbow from off the top rope to pick up the pin-fall.

Bobby Lashley then entered the ring from his small chamber.  Bobby Lashley hit a spear on Test to pick up the pin-fall.

The Big Show was the last Superstar to enter the elimination chamber.  Lashley hit a spear on The Big Show to pick up the pin-fall to become the new ECW World Champion.

Some additional comments regarding ECW "December to Dismember".

There was no announcement of how many fans were in attendance for this Pay-Per-View, I can only assume that it was not a sell out.

I don’t understand why the WW decided to put the ECW Championship on Bobby Lashley, because when he was on SmackDown he was supposed to wrestle King Booker for the World Heavyweight Championship at "No Mercy".  Due to the WWE thinking that Bobby Lashley was not a capable challenger the fans could believe, they decided to make the Main Event for "No Mercy" a fatal four-way instead, so I don’t understand the sense now on giving him the ECW championship.
